The video game ad was saying hitler wouldn’t buy the game because he didnt eat meat (the game is about a boy made of meat).

they are saying to buy the game by making a joke using the Godwin theory…. it has nothing to do with vegetarians being like hitler.

obviously not a serious ad, and fits the humor of the game.

Yeah, this seems like a topic that will get a lot of people stirred up about the negative side of advertising. But, then, these are the ads that make us think, much more so than the ones we agree with. Thank you for the comment.

Great observations here. That WWF one is really bad. Holy.

I’m wondering how many of us are going to write about bad advertising today. (That’s what I”m planning on doing!) So hard to find advertising that “makes me think”….in a good way, that is.

Thanks guys! I appreciate the feedback. Since I haven’t written much since college, aside from technical stuff, I’m trying to get my writing style back into shape. This challenge has been refreshing for me. I’m actually kinda bummed that tomorrow is the last topic. Hopefully, I will keep this up.

Wow; great job at gathering these three ridiculous advertisements all of which I was aware and thought showed the dark side of the advertising business. Insane!
